How to assess a marketplace seller before buying
Use seller identity, product information and genuine reviews to make a more informed shopping decision.

Find the seller behind the listing
On a marketplace, the seller may be different from the website operator. Planet24 shows the seller name on products that have seller information, linking to a public store page. Read that page alongside the product description rather than relying on the product photograph alone.
Look for specific information
Useful listings identify the model, condition, included accessories and any important limitations. An unanswered compatibility question is a reason to ask, not a reason to assume. A clear description helps you judge whether the product fits your needs.
Reviews need context
Read what a review actually describes: the product, service or delivery experience. A new store may have no reviews, and a missing rating is not proof that it is good or bad. Planet24 does not invent reviews to fill an empty store page.
Keep communication tied to your order
Use the site’s support and order records. Do not send passwords or one-time codes to someone claiming to be a seller. Verification is a platform process, not a guarantee that every future transaction will be trouble-free; your product checks and consumer rights still matter.
